WOONSOCKET- Richard A. Palreiro, 79, of Woonsocket, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
Born in Fall River, MA on October 14, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Tavares) Palreiro, Sr.
He was the brother of the late William Palreiro, Jr. and leaves his nieces Donna Palreiro of Woonsocket and Lorraine Boulay of Providence, and his late nephew Michael Palreiro.
A life long resident of Woonsocket, Mr. Palreiro most recently resided at Crepeau Court. In May 1978, he graduated from Bryant College of Business Administration receiving his Masters of Business Administration. Mr. Palreiro was the proprietor and real estate agent of Richard A. Palreiro Agency in Woonsocket for many years.
He was a United States Army veteran and also served in the United Sates Army Corps Reserve.
He enjoyed and played in many city softball leagues and also played tennis. He enjoyed frequent visits with his friends at area coffee shops.
Arrangements are private under the direction of Cartier's Funeral Home, Bellingham, MA.
