BURRILLVILLE - Charles J. Waterman, 86, of Harrisville, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.
Born in Harrisville, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Cournoyer) Waterman.
Charles worked at area mills and was employed at the Burrillville Department of Public Works as a highway worker for 32 years, retiring in 1987. He was an Army Veteran and P.O.W. of WWII and was also a member of VFW Keegan-Dinagen Post 1023. He was an avid card player and fisherman.
He was predeceased by five brothers: Royal, William, John, Albert, Stephen and Joseph Waterman.
His funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at 10 am in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave, Pascoag. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 6 pm in the funeral home.
