David W.R. Salois

BURRILLVILLE- David W.R. Salois, 28, died April 2, 2014 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Deanna M. (Pelletier) Salois.
Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Normand J. Jr. and Dorothy P. (Riordan) Salois of Pascoag.
David was a student at Fr. John V. Doyle Nursery and Elementary School in Coventry until 1995. He attended Steere Farm Elementary School and Burrillville Middle School. He was a graduate of Burrillville High School, class of 2005. He went on to graduate from Gibbs College with a degree in Criminal Justice on July 28, 2007. He played Little League Baseball for four years. He was baptized at St. Anthony's Church in Providence, received First Holy Communion at St. John and Paul's Church in Coventry, and was confirmed at St. Joseph's Church, Pascoag. David worked for the Burrillville DPW, was a member of the Burrillville Lions Club, and was certified for CPR/AED for professional Rescuers, and was a proud member of the Pascoag Fire Department.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Lilianna R. and Victoria M. Salois of Harrisville, two sisters, Judith F. Sardinha of Fall River, MA and Erin M. Williamson-Salois of Pascoag, and two nieces, Zoe T. and Isabella L. Sardinha.
His funeral will be held at 9:30AM on Apr. 11, 2014 from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave, Pascoag, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7PM. In lieu of flowers, donation in his name may be made to Pascoag Fire Department Hose Co. #1, 105 Pascoag Main St. Pascoag, RI 02859.
