WHITINSVILLE- Kozimor, Karen F. of Whitinsville, formerly of Waltham, died peacefully on March 22, 2014 at age 65.
She was born in Bellingham, the daughter of Frank Kozimor and the late Dorothy (Freeman) Kozimor.
A graduate of Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston, Karen enjoyed a long career with many top radio stations in New England, most recently as Traffic Director at WCRB. She was passionate about animals and supported Friends of Animals and the MSPCA.
Karen was a devoted daughter, dedicating much loving energy to care for her aging parents. She freely gave her love, time and positive spirit to friends and family. All those who were touched by Karen were better because of it.
Survived by her father Frank Kozimor of Blackstone; sister Andrea Kozimor of CA; brother Kent Kozimor of UT; nephew Ryan Kozimor of OK; and long-time close friend John Squires of Waltham.
A memorial service will be held in May. Donations in Karen's memory may be made to: Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell Animal Medical Center (MSPCA-Angell) http://www.mspca.org/ or an animal shelter of your choice.
