WOONSOCKET - Mabel E. Riel, 67, of Cumberland Hill Road died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mabel E. (Adam) Riel, she had lived in Manville for most of her life before moving to Woonsocket 12 years ago.
Miss Riel worked at the Homestead Group (formerly the Arc of Northern RI) before retiring
She is survived by one sister, Lorraine T. Roy and her husband, George of Chepachet; two brothers, Joseph Riel and his wife, Lorraine of Cumberland and Robert Riel of Woonsocket; many nieces and nephews; and her family at Oakland Grove Health Center.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held SATURDAY, APRIL 12 at 10 A.M. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
