CUMBERLAND- Elizabeth (Barbour) Bonollo, 71, of Mohawk Street, passed away Thursday at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Kenneth N. Bonollo who passed away two weeks ago.
Born in Clayton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lois (Stevens) Barbour.
She resided in Cumberland for the past 56 years, previously residing in North Carolina.
Mrs. Bonollo was employed as Quality Control Inspector for the Premier Thread Company of Bristol, RI for over 25 years until her retirement.
She was an avid gardner and loved to cook. She would often be seen riding motorcycle with her husband Ken. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Butner, NC. She was also a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Group.
She leaves four children Carleton N. Bonollo of Pawtucket, Buddy K. Bonollo of Cape Coral, FL, Maria C. Lemois of Cumberland and was also the mother of the late Kenneth N. Bonollo II; two brothers, Dalton Barbour of Virgilina, NC and Danny Barbour of Butner, NC, and was the sister of the late Dennis Barbour; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday with services at 12 Noon, officiated by her grandson, Pastor Brandon Lemois, in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the America Lung Association, 260 W Exchange Street, #102b, Providence, RI 02903
