Religious programming returns to Blackstone cable TV

BLACKSTONE – Religious programming will return to cable access television in Blackstone.

At its meeting Tuesday, the selectmen unanimously voted to overturn a previous board ruling and adopt a new policy that will allow religious oriented programming back on the air effective immediately.

Blackstone cable access technician and operator Paul Jacob says the previous board of selectmen decided two years ago to take programming from religious and all other outside, non-government related agencies off local cable television because of abuses, including abuses by one out-of-town church that continuously broke the rules.
