WOONSOCKET â€” RiverzEdge Arts Project has launched an â€śemergency moving fundâ€ť to offset the cost of relocation and losses due to the disruption of operations after being forced out of Le Moulin complex in Market Square earlier this month.
Program Manager Brad Fesmire says RiverzEdge is facing $65,000 in unexpected expenses, including lost business, grant suspensions, and cost of refurbishing temporary quarters at Second Avenue School.
â€śA lot of our funding comes from reimbursable grants,â€ť said Fesmire. â€śWe donâ€™t have a program, we donâ€™t have grants. We donâ€™t have a studio, we canâ€™t do business.â€ť
