BURRILLVILLE- Maurice (Moe) A. Laferriere, 62, died Monday, Apr. 28, 2014 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Carol (Goodnough) Laferriere whom he married June 6, 1970.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Albert C. and Mildred E. (Spear) Laferriere.
Moe worked for Benjamin Moore, Milford, MA, for more than 20 years. He served in the Army National Guard for 22 years. He loved fishing, the Races and especially his family and granddaughters.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Scott Laferriere of Pascoag, one daughter, Christy Karmozyn, her husband Michael, of Harrisville, a daughter in law, Cindy L. Laferriere-Miranda of CT, two brothers, Larry Laferriere of Pascoag and Randy Laferriere of CT and four granddaughters, Dallas C. Laferriere, Amber L. Laferriere, Madison R. Laferriere and Olivia A. Lace. He was the father of the late Jeffrey A. Laferriere.
His service and visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 2 to 6 PM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904.
