NO. SMITHFIELD- Florence M. (Frechette) Hebert, 93, of No. Smithfield, died April 30, 2014 in Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Marcel Hebert. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Julia (Daley) Frechette.
Mrs. Hebert worked twelve years for Seiler Vending Co., Pawtucket, retiring in 1985 and previously worked for twenty-two years as the Fountain Manager for the former Brown's Drug Store.
She is survived by a stepson, Robert Hebert of Woonsocket, a stepdaughter, Suzanne Core of Greenwood, AR, five grandchildren and several nieces. She was the sister of the late Alfred Frechette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Friendly Home Activities Fund, 303 Rhodes Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
