WOONSOCKET- Muriel C. (Pimental) Rosati, 74, resident of Third Ave., Woonsocket, died Nov. 17, 2010 at Landmark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the long time friend of Pauline McElreath.
Born Nov. 1, 1936 in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Manuel F. and Angelina A. (Paul) Pimental. She was a life long city resident.
Muriel worked as a packer for A.T. Cross in Lincoln for many years before retiring.
She was a life member of the VFW, American Legion and the Amvets Post 7 Axillary.
She is survived by a son, Peter Rosati of Fall River; a brother, Wilfred Pimental of No. Smithfield; two sisters, Lillian Ascermly of Attleboro and Helen Twining of No. Carolina.
She was the sister of the late, Nelson, Francis, Maurice, James, Anthony, Lawrence, Leona, Margarette and Isabella Pimental, Evelyn Laforest, Loretta Neves, Carolina Rodrick, Theresa Laquerre.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Charles Church, North Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone. Arrangements are entrusted to Egidio DiPardo and Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel's name can be made to the Woonsocket Animal Shelter. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
