WOONSOCKET - Doris C. (Beausoleil) Charbonneau, 85, of Woonsocket, formerly of Winter Haven, FL, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Armand Charbonneau. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Hermenegilde and Ella (Savaria) Beausoleil.
Doris was a textile worker for many years. She loved BINGO, line dancing and trips to the casino.
She leaves her brother, Henry Carrier of Winter Haven, FL, two sisters, Irene C. Robin and Alice Groleau, both of Woonsocket, and many nephews and nieces, whom she treated as if they were her children. Doris was predeceased by five sisters, Anita Riendeau, Terri Bianco, Cecile Lafleche, Simone Dufault and Jeannette Martineau, and two brothers, Leo and Raymond Beausoleil.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10:30AM in Precious Blood Church, 94 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be held at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Calling hours are omitted. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
