BELLINGHAM - Cheryl A. (Lemay) St. Germain, 58, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 30, 2014 with her loving family by her side, after courageously fighting a battle with cancer for eight years. She was the beloved wife for 39 years of Maurice "Moe"
St. Germain. Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 9, 1956, she was the daughter of Rick and Connie (LeBlanc) Lemay of Woonsocket, RI. She was the loving mother of Jake St. Germain of Bellingham, MA and Tara L. Ducharme and her husband, Kevin of Lincoln, RI, and her cherished grandsons, Jack and Luke. Cheryl leaves her brother, Steven Lemay and his wife, Cindy of Wakefield, RI, her sister-in-laws, JoAnn Dupuis of Florida and Deb Cardone and her husband, Joe of North Smithfield, RI, six nieces and nephews, her aunts, uncles, cousins, and her dear friend, Patricia Stewart of Woonsocket.
A resident of Bellingham for 32 years, formerly of Woonsocket, she was a graduate of Woonsocket High School class of 1974. Cheryl was the Dental Office Manager for the Stepka Family Dental of North Smithfield for 25 years. She was a past member and President of the Bellingham Women of Today. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.
Cheryl lived each day celebrating life and expressed an unconditional love and kindness to all. Her smile, strength, and courage touched many lives. As Cheryl would say “It is what it is. Enjoy what you can now, don’t wait.” To truly know Cheryl was a blessing. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, June 5th at 9:30AM from CARTIER’S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, June 4th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home.
