WOONSOCKET - Mrs. Elaine D. (Lamoureux) DiPardo, 86, of North Smithfield, passed away June 12, 2014 at the Friendly Home in Woonsocket after an illness.
She was the loving wife to the late Angelo A. DiPardo.
Elaine was born in Woonsocket, RI a daughter of the late George L. Sr. & Doris J. (Fugere) Lamoureux.
Elaine owned and operated the Egidio DiPardo and Sons Funeral Home for many years. She was a communicant and member of the Ladies Guild for St. John's Church in Slatersville. Elaine was also a member of the St. Agatha's Church Senior Citizen's Club and the Quota International.
She is survived by her children, Michael DiPardo of Woonsocket, Gina Drainville of North Smithfield, Elena Pewtress and her husband Dan of Washington State, David DiPardo of Woonsocket, Anthony DiPardo and his wife Carole of Lincoln, and John DiPardo and his wife Jesse of Washington State. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Delores Duquette of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews .
She was preceded in death by her sons James and Joseph DiPardo, brothers, Donald, Robert, and George L. Lamoureux Jr. and her sisters, Claire Lenburg and Janet Moore.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. John's Church, Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone, MA. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. www.dipardofuneralhome.com
