BURRILLVILLE - Joseph G. LeClair, 41, of Glendale, RI, passed away June 22, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, a son of Gerald & Gail (Connell) LeClair of Glendale, RI.
Joseph was a chemical applicator for the Malec Tree Services Co.in Nasonville. He was a lifelong Burrillville resident. He played in several area bands including the Down to Earth Band. An accomplished musician, he composed and preformed both music and vocals. He also was an avid New England Patriot fan.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Althea Lynn "Allie" LeClair of Glendale, a stepson Zachary Peso of Johnston, his brothers, Daniel LeClair of Harrisville and Steven LeClair of North Smithfiled, a sister Gwendolyn "Wendy" LeClair of Glendale and his girlfriend of nine years, Jill Whewell of Glendale. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Camille Marcoux Connell.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11am in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm.
