WOONSOCKET - Shirley A. Blanchard 71, of Diamond Hill Rd., died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. She was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Wigglesworth) Gosselin. Shirley was a piece worker for the former Miller Electric Co. for thirty years before retiring fifteen years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Belanger of Woonsocket, three brothers Leo Gosselin Jr. of Warwick, Arthur Gosselin of Burrillville, and Roger Gosselin of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, Jennifer Lizotte, Angel Lanctot, Chelsea Dubois and Normand Dubois and four great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Darell Blanchard Jr. and sister of the late Robert and Ronald Gosselin and Constance Cote.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in all Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery. Arrangements are under the directions of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook.
