Marion I. Ducharme-Paul
BURRILLVILLE - Marion I. (Spink) Ducharme-Paul, 98, of Pascoag, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Harold Ducharme and Horace Paul. Born in Harrisville, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Albina (Dumas) Spink.
Marion worked as a clerk for Flemmings Department Store for many years before being promoted to manager at age 73. She was a member of the Mothers Club of Hope Valley, the Burrillville and Richmond Senior Citizens and was a member and past president of the Rosary and Altar Society at St. Joseph's Church, Pascoag.
She is survived by a son, David Ducharme of Chepachet, a daughter, Joan Sabella of Harrisville, a sister, Evangeline Young of Mapleville, eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, twenty-two great great grandchildren three step children, Greg Paul of Hopkinton, Jacqueline McCann of Macon, GA and Cynthia Paul of Groton, CT, and six step grandchildren, six step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild. She was the sister of Oscar, Fred and Armand Spink, Alice McCauly, Ruth McCann, Mary Drescher, Gladys Ducharme and Mable Moore, mother of the late Ronald Ducharme and grandmother of the late Nicole NcConnell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be held Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. www.boucherfh.com
