Camille Morisseau

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Camille "Cam" Morisseau, 69, of Great Road, died June 18, 2014 in St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of Elaine S. (Nys) Morisseau whom he married June 12, 1965. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Emile and Laurencia (Julie) Morisseau.
He retired from Northeast Fire & Safety but worked for most of his career as a powder prep technician for Tupperware. Cam worked along with his wife as a delivery driver at Elaine's Flowers in North Smithfield. Cam was a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed spending time at the Cape. He was everybody's friend including his early morning "breakfast club" at Quik Stop. His greatest love centered on caring for his family, being their smiling volunteer taxi driver, and being a wonderful husband, dad and pepere.
If you can, the family wishes that you would do an unexpected random act of kindness for someone in his memory.
Besides his wife, he is survived by their two daughters, Rachel Bergeron and her husband Rob of North Smithfield, and Christine Gesualdi and her husband Kirk of Oakland; his brother Raymond Morisseau of Blackstone, MA; two grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Bergeron; and his mother in law, Terry Nys of No. Smithfield. He also leaves three nephews, Bob, Dennis and David Morisseau and a niece, Debbie Morisseau. He was the brother of the late Alfred and Wilfred Morisseau.
His funeral will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 beginning with visitation at 1 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 PM in Slatersville Congregational Church, On the Common, Slatersville. The family respectfully requests that all in attendance for Cam's services wear blue in his memory, as it was his favorite color. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Smithfield Food Pantry, c/o Slatersville Congregational Church, PO Box 808, Slatersville, RI 02876.
