NORTH SMITHFIELD - Lillian T. Robitaille, 79, died Saturday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Robitaille. Lillian resided in Florida for ten years and in Arizona for ten years before returning to Rhode Island in 2004. She was born in Blackstone, a daughter of the late Albert and Marie Jeanne (Paradis) Carrier.
Lillian worked for the former Almac's Supermarket in Bellingham for over fifteen years. She was also a realtor and broker for the Lillian T. Robitaille Real Estate Agency for ten years. She retired from Burger King in 1988 where she worked as a hostess and cashier while living in FL. Lillian was a member of the Greater Woonsocket Realtors, the K of C Women's Auxiliary and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by a son Roland R. Robitaille of Phoenix, AZ, three daughters Rose Choquette of Greenville, Rachel Robitaille of IA, and Rita Girard of Woonsocket, three sisters Annette Poisson of Manville, Madeline Leveille of Johnston, and Adele Bolton of Mt Pleasant , TX, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Aime Carrier, and Lucille Carrier.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 PM.
