WOONSOCKET - Mildred A. Geter, 62, of Main St. died Friday July 4, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born , in Newberry, South Carolina, daughter of the late Malcolm and Lela Mae (Harmon) Jeter.
She was an active member of St. James Baptist Church.
She worked as a CNA at Landmark Medical Center and Rhode Island Hospital, also for Beverage World Liquor Store, Miller Electric and Rosecraft.
Mildred, enjoyed being with her family and friends, cooking, baking and dancing.
Mildred is survived by her two children, Angela R. Young, of Woonsocket, R. I. and Kendrick Geter of Woonsocket, RI. One brother Willie Jeter and Lucy Desilets, of Woonsocket, R.I. One sister Delma Jeter of Woonsocket. Eight grandchildren, Nathan, Gabrielle, Jameil, Cheyenne, Tyrell, Craig, Donte', and Chance.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 11 A.M. in St. James Baptist Church, South Main St. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield, R.I., Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I.
