WOONSOCKET - Aldor J. Croteau 95, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away July 13, 2014 at the Woonsocket Health Center.
He was loving husband of 68 years to Henriette (Martinval) Croteau.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Arthur & Albertine (Touisgnant) Croteau.
Aldor worked for many years in area textile mills. He was a lifelong Woonsocket resident. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Marianne Doura of Woonsocket and Daniel Croteau and his wife Jean of Warwick, grandchildren, Debra Doura, Dolores Godin, and Patricia Andrade, great grandchildren, Marianne Doura, Ciara Doura, James V. Andrade Jr, Janice Jean Andrade, Daniel Lee Howe, Brianna Lee Howe, Richard "Bubby" Howe, Alishea Lee Howe, Destiny Godin, Olivia Godin, and Michael Godin and his great-great granddaughter, Annalise Hickey.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolores D. Croteau.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10am in the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham MA. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6pm until 8pm.
