Frosty Builds Skateparks is a new brand of skateboard wax thatâs at the center of a web-based crowdfunding campaign thatâs already raised over $14,000 to build a Street Athlete Community Center in the city. And itâs all the brainchild of four teenage skateboard enthusiasts who say there are too few recreational venues here to practice their favorite activities, including skateboarding, rollerblading and BMX bicycling.
âWe need a place to skateboard because weâre tired of getting kicked out of places just for doing what we love,â says Aaron Williams, 15, of Woonsocket.
