Itâ€™s the stuff of dreams.
Frosty Builds Skateparks is a new brand of skateboard wax thatâ€™s at the center of a web-based crowdfunding campaign thatâ€™s already raised over $14,000 to build a Street Athlete Community Center in the city. And itâ€™s all the brainchild of four teenage skateboard enthusiasts who say there are too few recreational venues here to practice their favorite activities, including skateboarding, rollerblading and BMX bicycling.
â€śWe need a place to skateboard because weâ€™re tired of getting kicked out of places just for doing what we love,â€ť says Aaron Williams, 15, of Woonsocket.
