MANVILLE - Frank V. Paine, Jr., formerly of Manville, entered into rest July 17, 2014 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. He was predeceased in 2009 by his wife of fifty-two years Claudette A. (Paulison) Paine. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Frank V., Sr. and Mabel (King) Paine.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean War then worked for many years with the Town of Lincoln's School Department. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 0009 and enjoyed many years of seasonal camping in Jamestown's Fort Getty with his wife.
He leaves his sons, Frank V. Paine, III and his companion Marybeth of No. Dighton, MA, and John Paine and his wife Anne of Northford, CT. He is the beloved grandfather of Greg, Stephanie and John Paine as well as Nicole Frazer and her husband Jaime; and great grandfather of Mason, Rowan and Hayden. He leaves one brother, Steven Paine and his wife Elaine of Attleboro.
His funeral will be held Saturday July 26, 2014 beginning with visitation at 8:15 AM followed by a service at 9:15 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Inurnment will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
