HOLLY HILL, FL - Antonio "Tony" J. Marcotte, 82 of Holly Hill FL passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on July 16, 2014 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Tony was born on July 2, 1932 to the late Emery Marcotte and Antoinette (Brodeur) Marcotte in Newport VT. At a very young age his family moved to Littleton, NH where Tony was raised until the age of 17 and then moved to Woonsocket. He graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1951 and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, a Korean War Veteran he was honorably discharged after 4 years of service.
He was employed with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) in East Providence for over 33 years. In 1994 he retired and moved to Holly Hill FL.
He is survived by his daughter Louise (Marcotte) Desrosiers of Holly Hill FL; his son John Marcotte and his wife Lynne of Lakeland FL; his son Robert Marcotte and his wife Karen of St. Johns FL.
Tony also has four grandchildren; Jenna Desrosiers, Kerrie Hilsheimer and her husband Conrad, Luke Desrosiers and David Marcotte and two great grandchildren; Eleanor and Aiden Hilsheimer, two step grandchildren; Andrea and Jason Robinson, three step great grandchildren; Kayla, Madelynn and Hailey Robinson.
A Memorial Service with Full Military Honors will be performed by the Honor Guard of Pease Air Force Base in October at Saint Rosa Lima Cemetery in Littleton NH.
