August 17, 2014

CUMBERLAND – For members of the Cumberland American Little League team it was likely a game of the ages, and Saturday night’s 8-7 win over the Tennessee team during the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn., hasn’t been overlooked back at home.

The team’s stunning final inning walkoff victory thanks to a home run by CJ Davock was the talk of the town Sunday, and had many wishing for more success by their local Little League representatives.

“It was absolutely amazing,” Cumberland Police Sgt. Brandon Vadenais said of Saturday night’s game.
