CRANSTON - Diane C. (Gaboury) Loporchio, 64, died Sunday, Aug. 10 2014, at home in Cranston after a long illness. She was the wife of Anthony Loporchio. Born in Woonsocket, Diane was the daughter of the late Wilfrid J. Gaboury Jr. and Cecile P. (DeBlois) Gaboury. She lived in Rhode Island for most of her life.
Diane graduated from Woonsocket's St. Claire High School in 1968 and received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Smithfield's Bryant College in 1991. She earned her CPA certificate and spent her career working in accounting.
She is survived by her husband Anthony, her son Matthew LaCroix, his wife Tina, and their sons Nathan and Max of Mapleville. She was the sister of David Gaboury of Fargo, N.D., Jane Gaboury of Johns Creek, Ga., and Scott Gaboury of Blue Bell, Penn.
Arrangements are private at the request of her husband. In lieu of flowers, her siblings suggest donations to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (www.ftd-picks.org).
