N. Smithfield shopping complex to add two restaurants, other businesses

August 21, 2014

NORTH SMITHFIELD – Dowling Village is entering another growth spurt thanks to the completion of agreements with several new business and two national restaurant chains— Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar and Texas Roadhouse, a chain specializing in steaks with a western flavor.

The Eddie Dowling Highway property’s developer, Brian Bucci, on Thursday confirmed town reports that construction will begin soon on the new business locations with completion expected next year.
“Texas Roadhouse and Buffalo Wild Wings applied for liquor licenses from the town, they were granted and they are coming,” Bucci said.
Construction on the two new restaurants is expected to begin next month with openings planned for sometime in the spring, according to Bucci.

“They are really good restaurants and are well known for being the best in their class,” he said.
