HARRISVILLE- Alice (Moulson) Doiron, 73, of Harrisville, RI passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Pine Grove Health Center, Pascoag, RI with family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 55 years of Armand Doiron.
Born August 30, 1937 in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jeannette (Glaude) Moulson.
She was the loving mother of Monique Packer of West Warwick, RI, Anne Jacques and her husband, John, of Paxton, MA, Denise McIlmail of Warwick, RI, Nicole Gomes of Burrillville, RI; and her cherished 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Claire Nichols and her husband, Edward of Sutton, MA and the late Joan Eames and Ernest Moulson, Jr.
Alice was raised in Bellingham, MA at Lake Hiawatha and attended Bellingham High School, she resided in Albion, RI for 40 years before retiring to Tucson, AZ 15 years ago. She worked at Chemart, Roger Williams Food and American Tourister. Mr. & Mrs. Doiron celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on May 28, 2010. She was an avid traveler. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, December 6, at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School St., Albion, RI. Visiting hours are on Sunday, December 5, from 1 to 5PM Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Alice Doiron to a charity of your choice.
