Lillian L. Vachon

WOONSOCKET- Lillian L. (Brodeur) Vachon, 87, of So. Main St., died Friday, December 10, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Vachon.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Louisa (Morel) Brodeur.
A seamstress by trade, Mrs. Vachon worked at the former Woonsocket Dress Co. and retired in 1983 as a manager for the former Fashion Sportswear, Woonsocket. She was a Communicant of Holy Family Church, member of its choir and past President of its Parent Teacher Association. She enjoyed quilting and geneology.
Lillian is survived by, a daughter, Denise J. Vachon of Woonsocket, two sons, Robert Vachon of No. Providence and Philip A. Vachon of Redmond, WA, a brother, Paul Brodeur of No. Smithfield and seven grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Leo, Raymond, Lucien and Bertram Brodeur, Violet Bishop and Jeannette Martel.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Family Church, So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Friday from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 No. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
