WOONSOCKET- Irene A. DuBois 85, of 303 Rhodes Ave. died Saturday at RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francois W. DuBois.
Born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Alphonse and Aldora (Morais) Riquier, she was a homemaker for most of her life.
Mrs. DuBois was a member of the St. Germain Manor Club and the RI Blind Association.
She is survived by five sons, Richard F. DuBois of East Brookfield, MA, Robert A. DuBois of Vicksburg, MS, Dennis W. DuBois of Sharpsburg, GA, Ronald L. DuBois Sr. of Harbor Beach, MI, and William J. DuBois of White River Junction, VT, one daughter Francine DuBois of Woonsocket, a brother Leo Riquier of Woonsocket, two sisters Florence Romano of Manville, and Cecile Gilbert of Woonsocket, sixteen grandchildren, twenty seven great -grandchildren and one great -great -granddaughter. She was also the mother of the late Thomas F. DuBois, and sister of the late Armand and Arthur Riquier and Annette Poulin.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier &Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 Am in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8 PM. Please visit
