PORT ST. LUCIE, FL- On December 16th, 2010, Adrian M. Graves passed away peacefully at home after a 1 year battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born August 28th, 1940 in Woonsocket, RI. He was the son of the late Henry Graves and late Madeleine (Monty) Graves both from Woonsocket .
He is survived by his daughters Judy Wynne and her family of Woonsocket, RI, Stephanie Phillips and her family of Avon, MA, and Melissa Sikes and her family of Fairbanks, AK as well as his former wife, Elizabeth (Soos) Graves of Woonsocket. He was the stepfather of Robert "Schnig" Schleinig and the late Edie Schleinig. He had 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Gerald Graves and his family of Lonedell, MO and Thomas Graves and his family of Bellingham, MA and his sister in law Joan Graves-Keenan and her family of Millsboro, DE. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Graves of and his sister Patricia Graves. He leaves behind friends and colleagues in both the RI and Florida areas, especially the Moran family of Port St Lucie.
Adrian was a graduate of Mount St. Charles as well as Rhode Island College. He was a Reading Specialist and English teacher in Woonsocket for 30 years in both the former Woonsocket Junior High School and then the Woonsocket Senior High school. He retired to Florida in 1992.

Funeral and burial will be private. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
