CHRISTMAS RAPPING -- Santa to the Stars has own YouTube video

December 25, 2010

PAWTUCKET — “Santa to the Stars” Brady White is now a screen star in his own right with a new music video that is appearing on YouTube.
Called “Santa's Wrap,” the video features the Pawtucket resident performing a rap-style song that he wrote himself. Since it made its debut earlier this month, “Santa's Wrap” has garnered over 31,000 hits on the Internet video site. The easiest way to access the video is by looking up “Santa's Wrap” on Google or by visiting YouTube and searching “Santa's Wrap.”
Fittingly, the realistic-looking Santa undergoes several wardrobe changes, with his traditional outfit getting a dose of Hollywood glitz and glamour. White “raps” about the fun and merriment of Christmas, but also interjects some serious messages to youngsters about being kind to others, obeying their parents, and doing well in school. He concludes by asking them to remember that “Jesus is the reason for the season.”
White, who has made a successful career out of playing Santa, said he decided to make the YouTube video to “make sure that Santa stays hip.” He also said he is concerned that children do not get all wrapped up in the material side of Christmas and that they remember the real meaning of the special season.
White travels nationally and internationally to appear as Santa Claus for advertising photo shoots, TV commercials, and appearances at numerous private parties and holiday events. In his over 20-year career, he has rubbed elbows with some of Hollywood's major players, including Elizabeth Taylor, John Travolta, Cher, Madonna, Paris Hilton and the Kardashians. It was Khloe Kardashian who gave White's video a boost recently with some added publicity.
The MP3 version of “Santa's Wrap” is also available for downloading on iTunes.
