BURRILLVILLE- Kathan M. (Dorsey) Brouillard, 79, died Sunday Dec. 26, 2010 in Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag.
Born in Burlington, VT, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Irene (Looby) Dorsey.
Kathan worked as a secretary for the state Probation & Parole for 35 years, she also worked at Zambarano Hospital. She was an active member of the Democratic Town Party for many years.
She is survived by nieces Rosemary Thomas of Smithfield, Kathan Kennedy Neal of New Port Richie, FL, a nephew Robert Looby of Coventry, and good friends Louise Phelan of Glendale and Gorete Rapoza of Pascoag.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday Dec. 30, 2010 at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be in the Boucher Funeral Home 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, from 9:30 to 10:30am Thursday prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, RI 02859.
