MILLVILLE- Robert H. Laflamme Sr., 68, of Main St. died peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lois (Ravenelle- Remillard) Laflamme.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Robert and Helen (Pierce) Laflamme.
Mr. Laflamme worked as an Extruder for Teknor Color Company, for 22 years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 11020, of Millville MA., obtaining the rank of third degree. He was member of the Millville Senior Club. He and his wife were former owners of the Four Corners II Cafe in Fairmount.
He was a Foster parent for 31 children.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Robert and wife Stacy Laflamme Jr., of Milliville, MA. William and Deann of Blackstone, Daniel and Nancy Laflamme, and Christopher Laflamme both of Millville, MA. Three brothers, Edward and Henry Laflamme both of Texas, and Judith Freitas, of North Smithfield, Five grandson, Christopher, Chad, David, Brendan, Aaron Laflamme, and one granddaughter Jamie Laflamme, one great-grandson Max Desjardins. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 3, 2011, at 10 A.M. in St. Augustine Church 17 Lincoln St. Millville, MA. Burial will be at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Sunday, from 5-8 P.M., in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. In lieu of flowers donations to the VNA Service of Greater Rhode Island, 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Lincoln, R.I. 02865, and to St. Augustine Church, 17 Lincoln St. Millville, Ma. 01529 would be appreciated.
