WOONSOCKET- Mrs. Theresa (Nadeau) Warhol, 86, of MacArthur Rd., Woonsocket, died Jan. 2, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late John P. Warhol.
Born Jan. 24, 1924 in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Cloutier) Nadeau.
Theresa worked as a spinner for the former of the Murray Worsted Mills in Woonsocket and was a longtime dedicated employee of the former McCarthy's Department Store in Woonsocket being one of the top sales clerk.
She was a lifelong Woonsocket resident and former communicant of St. Josephs Church. She was a former member of the Soclumac Club through McCarthy's Dept. Store. She enjoyed gardening and yard work along with animals and taking care of the stray cats in the neighborhood.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Warhol of Glendale and Roy R. Warhol of Woonsocket; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late, Rene, Normand Nadeau and Gilberte Dugas.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., No. Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Josephs Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. In celebration of Terry's life, flowers are welcome. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
