William C. Perry, Sr.

NO. SMITHFIELD- William C. Perry, Sr., 72, of Victory Highway, finished his earthly duties on December 23, 2010 with his family at his side. He was the husband of Joan L. (Boudreau) Perry.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late William C. and Mary Elizabeth (Hedley) Perry.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his son, William C. Perry, Jr. of Providence, his daughter Deborah Perry of No. Smithfield and his grandchildren, Katherine Fillengere of W. Warwick, William Charles Perry Miller and Alex Perry Miller of Steelton, PA.
A Marine Corps Veteran, Mr. Perry attended the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence. In 1973, he established his own independent art studio in Slatersville and was responsible for creating the murals on the side of Woonsocket City Hall and in the rear of the Woonsocket Call Building.
His Funeral Service, with Military Honors, will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11AM in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 So. County Trail, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
