WOONSOCKET- Elizabeth "Lisa" A. Flynn, of Woonsocket, RI, died December 19, 2010.
She was born in Newark, NJ on June 18, 1963, a daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy (Burgess) Flynn.
Miss Flynn lost her fight against pancreatic cancer at age 47, and she was surrounded by friends and family that loved her dearly. Miss Flynn was a Customer Service Manager in education finance for Citizens Bank for ten years before retiring in September due to illness.
Miss Flynn was an avid NY Yankees and Giants fan, loved to travel with her best friends, and spend time with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two brothers; Christopher Flynn of Wayne, NJ, and Jeffrey Flynn of Centennial CO, and a sister, Jennifer Milan of Plainfield, IN.
Her funeral with a Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, January 8 at 11:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 20 Church St., Hopkinton MA. Burial will be private. People wishing to offer their condolences to the family may arrive at church at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in her memory be made online at
