Mary ( Kazan ) Picchioni

Woonsocket --- Mary ( Kazan ) Picchioni, 94, of Aylsworth Ave., died Friday January 7, 2011, in the Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Remo Picchioni.
Born Manville, R. I., daughter of the late Michael and Eudokia ( Kupaska) Kazan.
Mrs. Picchioni, worked for A.T. Cross for 9 years retiring in l979.
She enjoyed nature, bird watching, and cooking.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen R. and Gail Picchioni, of Woonsocket, R.I., Remo A. and Judy Picchioni Jr. of Harrisville, R.I., Peter C. and Eileen Picchioni, of Woonsocket. Three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She also was the mother of the late Michael A. Picchioni , who passed away on Jan. 1, 1993, and sister of the late Anna Kokolski and Stephen Kazan.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday Jan. 11, 2011, at 11: A.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Orthodox Cemetery in Manville. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Monday from 5-8 P.M.
