WOONSOCKET- Shirley C. (LaSalle) Trinque 74, of Mendon Rd. died Sunday at the Phillip Hulitar Center. She was the wife of the late Roger Trinque.
Mrs. Trinque was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late George and Loretta (Gosselin)LaSalle.
She was a machine operator for McGill Box in Plainville, MA for thirty years retiring in 1980. Shirley was an avid bingo enthusiast.
She is survived by two daughters Debra Woodard and Tina Fugere both of Woonsocket, three brothers George LaSalle, Wilfred Desrosiers and Richard Desrosiers all of Woonsocket, two sisters Rosemary Fogarty of SC, and Paulette Aubin of Nasonville, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Roger LaSalle and Barbara Thibault.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Theresa's Church, Dion Dr. Harrisville. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Thursday 4-7 PM. Please visit
