WARWICK- Barbara Lavergne, 90, of Warwick Ave. and formerly of Plainville, MA and Bellingham died Thursday in the Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of Marcel Lavergne for the past 44 years.
Born in Green Valley, CA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Aires) Dow.
She was employed by the Amprex Electronics Co., Slatersville for 15 years until her retirement.
Besides her beloved husband she leaves a niece Diane Walach and great nephew Craig Walach both of Warwick.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. John The Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham.
