WOONSOCKET- Marilyn D. (Carey) Boyle, 78, of Woonsocket, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Evan H. Boyle, and her devoted companion Roland "Mitch" Michaud of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket on December 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Lucy (Masson) Carey.
She was the loving mother of Michael C. Boyle and his wife Linda of Blackstone, and Donna A. Dunbar of Bellingham; and her cherished grandchildren, Jason Dunbar, Robin Boyle and Evan Boyle and great-grandson Logan Dunbar. She was the sister of Lorraine Thompson of Sheboygan, WI and the late Alan Carey, Richard Carey, Linda Froment and Priscilla Sereby.
A longtime resident of Woonsocket, Marilyn worked in Quality Assurance at Crosby Valve in Wrentham for 15 years until retiring and had also worked at Woonsocket Senior Services. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
