WOONSOCKET- Amy T. (Slattery) Taddeo, 95, of Woonsocket, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in Mt. St. Francis Health Center. She was the wife of the late Leo L. Taddeo. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Dwyer) Slattery.
Mrs. Taddeo was a homemaker who previously worked for the former Finklestein's and Royal Robes. She especially enjoyed needlepoint, sewing and baking.
She is survived by a son, Gael Taddeo of Chepachet, a daughter, Amy F. Taddeo of Arcadia, FL, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward, John, Gerald, Martin, Thomas and Eileen Slattery.
Her funeral, beginning with visitation at 9AM, will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Anthony's Church, 128 Greene St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
