MANVILLE- Cecile ( Martin ) Garneau, 87, of Railroad St. died , Friday January 14, 2011, at home peacefully with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Eugene L. Garneau.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Etienne and Clarisse (Mercier) Martin.
Cecile was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Claire and husband Donald Lebel, of Pennsylvania, Lorraine Tessier and Bob White of Manville, Pauline and husband Raymond Cournoyer Jr. of Woonsocket, Four sons, Eugene and wife Irene Garneau of North Smithfield, Roger and wife Sandra Garneau, of Pascoag, Raymond Garneau, of Woonsocket, David and Rachel, of Manville. 17 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a niece, Shirley Marks.
She also was the sister of the late Louie, Arthur, Henry, Raymond, George, Yvonne, Leah, and Helen.
He funeral will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011, from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, with at Mass at 10 A.M. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited, Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8 P.M.
