CUMBERLAND- Albert E. Jannarelli, 94, of Rosemont Avenue, passed away Sunday in the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Louise (Wojtkun) Jannarelli.
Born in Lincoln, he was the son of the late Domenico and Clara (Brown) Jannarelli. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life.
Mr. Jannarelli was most recently employed by the National Tire Retread Association of Washington, DC from which he retired. He was previously employed by Owens Corning Fiberglass for 33 years.
He leaves one son, Allan Jannarelli of Cumberland, one sister, Virginia Sousa of Cumberland; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Paula Messer and also was the brother of the late Daniel, Lawrence, Charles, and Louis Jannarelli.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday, 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 222 Richmond St, Providence, RI 02903, or to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, 400 Main St, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
