WOONSOCKET- Anna Krasowska, 90, of Woonsocket, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aniela (Wantroba) Krasowski. She lived in Woonsocket all of her life.
Miss Krasowska worked as a Switchboard Operator at Sears and Roebuck in Woonsocket for over 40 years when she retired in 1985. She was a communicant of Our Saviour Polish National Church in Woonsocket.
She is survived by a niece, Donna Trinque and her husband Dennis of Forestdale, three nephews, Bernard Krasowski and his wife Linda of El Paso, TX, Donald Krasowski of Warwick, and John "Archie" Campbell of St. Augustine, FL and several great nieces and nephews. She was the aunt of the late Robert Campbell and sister of the late Anthony and Bernard Krasowski, Mary and Stephanie Krasowska, Laura Campbell and Katherine Malecki.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10AM with a Mass in Our Saviour Polish National Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery, Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Our Saviour Polish National Catholic Church, 500 Smithfield Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
