Woonsocket tracksters split meet

PROVIDENCE -- Woonsocket High split its Northern Division meet with Central Falls on Saturday, losing a tight one to C.F. by a 57-52 margin and besting Shea, 68-41.
Aaron Harmon won two events for Woonsocket, the shot put and weight throw. Anthony Neal took the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 8.90 seconds. He tied for second place in the high jump with teammate Jessie Charette. Both cleared 5 feet, 8 inches.
C.F.’s Steven Vasquez cleared 6-4 to win by eight inches.
Charette won the long jump, beating teammate Alex Correia by one inch. Charette went 19 feet, 6 inches.
Woonsocket won the 4x200-meter relay and the 4x400. Jalen Evans, Charette, Correia and Tyler Bourk formed the winning 200 relay. Neal, Evans, Correia and Brian Guilbert took top honors in the longer relay.
