Florence L. Knapik

UXBRIDGE- Florence L. (White) Knapik, 89 of Crown and Eagle Apts. passed away Thur. Jan. 20.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years Stanley J. Knapik; daughter Betty Ann and her husband Thomas Haczynski of North Smithfield, R.I.; son Donald S. Knapik and his wife Joanne of Davenport, FL; 2 granddaughters Pamela (Haczynski) Storme of Coventry, R.I. and Jennifer (Haczynski) Blais of North Smithfield, R.I. and a great granddaughter Makenzie Storme. She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Santosuosso, Beatrice Jones, Vera Pease and her brothers Leonard, George, Roland and Raymond White.
Born in Whitinsville on Dec. 2, 1921 she was the daughter of Arthur and Elma (Plouffe) White. Mrs. Knapik worked for many years at the former Whitin Machine Works and Kartiganer Hat Shop. Florence enjoyed baking, bingo, taking trips to Twin Rivers and was an avid sewer.
Her funeral services will be held on Tue. Jan. 25 from the Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge MA. With a Mass at 1p.m. in St. Mary's Church 71 Mendon St. Uxbridge, MA. A calling hour will be held on Tue. from 11 to 12:30p.m at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Whitinsville, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
