WOONSOCKET- Ronald Anthony Perryman (March 12, 1967-January 20, 2011) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, in his home in Woonsocket, RI. Ron was born and raised in Mass. and graduated from Bourne High School.
Ron was the beloved husband of Amy Perryman (Farrow) and devoted father to Aliviyah Precious and Allajah Precious Perryman.
Ron was one of six children born to Robert and Carolyn (Hicks) Perryman of Georgia. He is survived by his brother Robert Jr. and wife Sonja, brother Rorery and wife Kimberly, sisters Kimberlyn, Kelly and Kirsten.
Ron graduated with a degree in Communications from Boston College in 1989 where he also was member of the Eagles football team from 1985 - 1989. He then pursued his passion for health and fitness. He became one of the most sought after trainers at The Boston Sports Club. He also became part of Channel 5's Health and Fitness segment. A well established fitness model, Ron worked with Reebok, Champion, and many other major brands. Planet Aid was a non-profit organization that Ron worked very hard to support, as well.
Visiting hours are Monday from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 11:30 am. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, No. Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ronald's name at www.4ALS.org and Compassionate Care ALS.
