Cecile M. Rondeau

UXBRIDGE- Cecile M. (Gaudreau) Rondeau, 86, of Uxbridge and formerly of Woonsocket passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Pine Grove Health Center, Pascoag with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 48 years of Gerard R. Rondeau.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 19, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Valida (Desautels) Gaudreau.
She was the loving mother of Laurent Rondeau and his wife Dawn of Santa Clara, CA, Paul Rondeau and Theresa Atherton of Millville, MA and Roger Rondeau and his wife Carol of Blackstone, MA; and her cherished 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and her late grandson Joseph Rondeau. She was the sister of Rita Tingley of Woonsocket, Florence Brissette of North Smithfield, Evelyn Tetreault of Woonsocket, Claire Hebert of Plymouth, MA and the late Ernest, Donat, Edgar and Eddie Gaudreau
Cecile enjoyed traveling, cooking and was devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 25, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Mary's Church, 77 Mendon St. (Rte 16), Uxbridge, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI. There are no calling hours.
